WATERLOO TRIPLE BLONDE

Description

Genuine Belgian top-fermented beer with a rich heritage. After several weeks of fermentation, secondary fermentation in the bottle adds the subtle finishing touch to the aroma.

Colour

With a bright golden yellow colour, very fine bubbles and a thick and creamy head.

Aromas

The first impression on the nose is fresh and yeasty.
Lively and fruity aromas accompanied by delicate and refined hop notes. The bouquet is complemented by touches of green apple and lime-blossom.

Flavour

The initial pure flavours persist on the palate and are well balanced. With its smooth texture, Waterloo Triple Blond reveals the malt’s quality and offers a refreshing hoppy finish with pleasant bitterness.

Aftertaste and general impression

A flagrant and well-structured, characterful and full-bodied mouthfeel with a pleasant aftertaste: a perfect balance between hops and malt.

Food pairing

Best with grilled meat and deep-fried potatoes.

WATERLOO DOUBLE BRUNE

Description

This top-fermented dark beer is brewed with roasted malts. The secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it its powerful and pleasant character.

Colour

Reddish-brown with a creamy and persistent head.

Aromas

The nose is quite complex, powerful and full-bodied with earthy notes of old wood.
First aromas are powerful (alcohol), spicy (wood) yet always well balanced, leading up to a pleasantly caramelised finish.

Flavour

The round mouthfeel and roasted malty flavour reinforce the aromas of coffee and toffee (molasses and caramelised butter).

Aftertaste and general impression

Its dark colour and warm strength make Waterloo Double Brune a delicious beer!

Food pairing

Excellent with blue cheeses and chocolate desserts.

WATERLOO SAISON BIO

Description

Waterloo Saison Bio is a traditional, seasonal farm beer. It is brewed at the Mont-Saint-Jean farm with organic barley and wheat grown on the farm’s fields.

Colour

This cloudy unfiltered beer has a bright yellow colour with a fine and delicate head.

Aromas

These malted cereals give the beer a slightly crisp, bread-like aroma with floral notes.

Flavour

The “seasonal” yeast used during the brewing process provides the typical dry character accompanied by the mild flavour of clove. The organic, 100% Belgian hops are responsible for the intense, persistent bitterness and the delicately spiced temperament.

Aftertaste and general impression

Its long aftertaste and balanced flavours make the Waterloo Saison Bio a beer full of character and very pleasant to taste.

WATERLOO RED CHERRY

Description

Waterloo Red Cherry is a perfect blend between a brown beer and natural cherry juice, resulting into a balanced red fruit beer with a subtle lemon touch. The lambic used is brewed by Timmermans, the oldest lambic brewery in the world (1702).

Colour

Bright cherry colour and nice delicate head. EBC : 49.

Taste

Typical elements : Cherry, Almond. Taste the natural sour cherries, that real Lambic balances with explosive sweet cherry juice. With notes of almond and red apples, THE fruity beer waiting to be discovered.

WATERLOO CUVEE IMPERIALE

Description

Waterloo Cuvée Impériale is brewed with special malts to bring out a rich, silky chocolate character. The brewers then took advantage of the empty casks of the Waterloo whiskies for almost 1 year to allow it to continue maturing. This allows the flavours of the wood, vanilla and the whisky present in the wood to penetrate the beer.

Aromas

Chocolate notes dominate the nose, followed by vanilla, oak and a touch of toasted wood that enriches the taste experience. The long finish features hints of liquorice and subtle caramel, accompanied by alcoholic warmth.
